Cooking the First Vegetables From our Garden





























We picked lots of bok choy, our first vegetable from the garden. We made a yummy stir-fry.

Here is the recipe.

Ingredients

600-800g of Bok Choy

1-2 Tb oil

¼ Tsp Crushed Garlic

1 tsp of sugar or honey

Salt to taste

Optional – Oyster Sauce

Wash the greens and cut the stems out. Slice the leaves at an angle about 2cm wide. Heat the oil and toss the stems around for two minutes. Add garlic, sugar and leaf tops and toss over heat until crisp and tender. Add a little oyster sauce to taste.
